For a customer, I have this little box in nbox and other similar media players, especially because it has a wider range of audio / video connections, and it is basically the difference priced shares. I use the HDMI port on my plasma screen, and digital coaxial connection to my receiver. I favor Western Digital My Passport Essential USB drives, and I could not be happier with the results. The HD picture looks great, and the booming 5.1 surround sound that far exceeds what I could from my laptop. It searches very quickly through your files, folders and subfolders, and it provides a continuous playback of your media. It plays AVI, MPG, MP4, VOB, MKV, and images without any problems. The box is filled with composite cable and a card component video cable. It has two USB ports, and presumably you can copy / paste / delete between the two, and apparently you can play a slide show and contemporary music, or where I have not tried, however, has made defects. Like most remotes, it is very un-user friendly, and does not work when you are over 10 meters. The manual is thin and a little 'disorganized, so read carefully. He would not cooperate with one of my records for any reason, and would not even play one of my flash videos, not that I've ever save them anyway. I put a movie paused for a few minutes, when I started reading the audio became out of sync, and I had a new inspiration to realign. However, the benefits far outweigh the disadvantages - I doubt that burn a new DVD. Some advice: If you connect this place and turn it on and get a picture, repeatedly press the "TV Out" on the first remote, the menu will soon come in the form of strong color. I recommend turning off the power with the on / off switch on the back, instead of using the remote control, it should go into "sleep mode", but I think it still uses to be inactive for too much power, and I am more comfortable Connect the player before I completely removed the USB cable. If your video file with AC3 audio is encoded, and using a hi-fi, can you set the digital edition of "RAW" decode so your receiver Dolby Digital / DTS soundtrack, you will probably only 2-channel Stereo. Overall a very versatile little gadget that should complement any home theater, if you have little storage space for your DVD and CD, or if you move to a convenient way to experience your PC into the living room. I just hope it is as durable as it performs. 26 of 26 customers found this review helpful. Five stars, but no! - Read the full review. From a customer that I got my new HD Mplay yesterday and have used it quite extensively with a wide selection of movies and throw all the functions I can say without reservation that this is currently the best cheap HD media player to explore. I have used digital media player for a few years now, starting with the previous TVIX models in 2008, and I have owned other brands like WD, Seagate, Asus, and now this unit Micca. The main draw for me that this device is that it is one of the first players in the new Realtek 1055 chipset. This chipset was released in late 2010 and the players began to appear in early 2011. The best thing about 1055 is that the same picture and sound can decode the high end and Sigma Realtek chip design, but they keep costs down by not one network, SATA, USB3.0 and other functions that the user may or do not want. Basically, if you want a good performance regardless Media Player and you want it cheap, be a player with Realtek 1055 be in the top of the list Back to mplayer-HD, which are small, about the size of a novel pocket, but thinner. It is also very light, all plastic case with probably a single circuit board inside, and no.
