All of your personal photos, videos, movies, music, and watch / listen to a button. Remote control included (mini-keyboard) is good, but it will take some time to get used to. I tried to MKV, JPG, AVI, BMP, MP3 and works well. Sometimes it is accepted, but that's good, we can not expect powerful processor for less than $ 200. Do not try Netflix. But for the web browser-based, only you can not read the text and letters are very small. PROS: 1. A 2 TB hard drive. It runs almost all formats with ease 3. By T. Vogel Setup was simple. And the updated firmware over Ethernet. Netflix was fine, but what I bought it for streaming video from my PC. Some files work ... But more frozen than I found acceptable ... others were not compatible - even if they are listed on the box sizes (and Iomega's site) as playable formats. The remote control was horrible. Sometimes you will have the middle button of the directional pad to select something, sometimes not - and it will appear much smaller than pictures do. I'm not a tech accumulate at all and was really hoping this would work as advertised ... Unfortunately it is not. I sold it and wait for something better ... although I am close with Boxee Box. I had given Iomega TV with Boxee (not yet available set-top box) meant, but disappointed with the way this Iomega product myself, I doubt I go this way. I've banished my old HDTV in the basement and the media player has promised, and the amount of content I could give.
