When plugging it in for the first time, you must plug in a usb keyboard to activate the menu and set things like IP address and password, local time, etc. The manager software supports, day of the week and time of day scheduling but not scheduling for a specific date and time. I like the HDMI port, and the fact that HDMI does carry audio, so one cable between the box and the TV makes things easy. You can have it turn on at a certain time and off at another time. HOWEVER you must have a TV that automatically shuts down when it loses the HDMI signal. I apparently didn't set the time correctly, so all my scheduling is 2 hours off. And I'm having trouble reloading the internal menu to change the time. I must be missing something. But adjusting for time discrepancies, it works great. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Lobby TV By Blair We installed this device in the lobby with internal controls to show current city events on a TV. It is a great education tool. See all 2 customer reviews...
