Excellent budget network-based media player for those who say no to wirelessly Mukhi I have tried WD TV (first generation) and they were compared cinematic tube and because the media player with similar features at similar prices. Despite WD TV was the most popular media player I had shown that cinema tube was the winner. Read my review of cinema tube here: Now that both WD TV Plus cinemagoers and are eager to fight, I can see cinemagoers still be the winner for similar reasons. Although this time I tried WD TV Live Plus (I felt), but after comparing their functions, from my previous experience with TV and WD cinema tube Cinemage and current experience, I must say that it will be difficult to a product the best on the market at this price do not bother with wireless? Then save money! You Tube Mini cinema at least for now, that is nothing but Cinemage sans wireless. You can use a USB wireless adapter still buy in the future to allow wire (Brite-View Adapter desirable recommended). Read my review Cinemage: cinema tube mini is "everything" that Cinemage can do! Parenteral control can be done by using a password Some mistakes should be corrected through a firmware update: As someone else also reported, # menu DVD ISO is still a bit flawed. For example, the movement of the pointer of the DVD menu does not match with the graphic at times. # IDX + SUB subtitles do not work sometimes. As soon as a video is loaded with IDX + SUB subtitle, the screen goes black, and the device automatically restarts. # If you find a radio / TV where you can not get a signal (play anything), the player freezes. You can not turn it off by remote control, you have to pull the power cord. I met several of these stations that froze my player among the few I've tried. For now, the best option is to add the working channels to your favorites. That works perfectly for me. # Sometimes, even after turning the power off (red light), sometimes turns back on, but I was not doing anything. # Some people reported slow torrent download. I don't see that much problem Remember, speed of download depends on the number of seeds/peers at a particular time and their upload speeds. Nevertheless, torrent may be slow because of BitTorrent client Brite-View is using. The advantage is CinemaTube Mini can be left on overnight to finish downloading as this device uses very low power. And guess what? You will see ALL folders, even system/hidden ones!!! It doesn't affect your unit, but you may not want someone see these folders. Built quality could be better, but that might make the product price higher. Bottomline: If you are looking for a compact computer-free media file playback, torrent download and streaming, you are going to fall in love with this inexpensive but powerful gadget. For your peace of mind, frequent firmware update and excellent customer service from Brite-View are also right there.
