Well I have my Micca Zhiqing Yao Delgado, a week ago and I felt compelled to write a review on this amazing gadget. HDD media players have been around for a while, but were not as popular, most people trip over them in search of an external hard drive enclosure. Recently, the hard disk media players have become very powerful and the new models like the Micca is still equipped with an HDMI output. Micca build quality is decent. The center of the frame is made of purple plastic, and the top plate / bottom are made of matte black anodized aluminum, which should be much better in terms of cooling of all the plastic boxes. The mainboard extends the interior dimension of the player, the hard drive is next to the main board. The whole assembly is held together with only two screws, but everything feels solid and flex free / rattle. Even with a 500 GB hard drive installed, the player is very light and feels like it's half empty all the players are connectors on one end and the infrared sensor is on the other end - a very logical structure which helps keep everything neat and clean. In my opinion, is HDMI the "killer application" for the players have a hard drive, for although there are PMP Archos as various iPod models with AV output, has only a composite video output, which means that any video with high quality can essentially worthless. Having a built-in LCD screen on paper sounds great, but nobody realizes how foolish a screen of 4 "or less until I try to see something more than 10 minutes at a time. I used to have an Archos 605, which has one of the largest and most beautiful ever built in LCD PMP, but mostly I wish I could send pictures on a larger screen TV as a monitor or a computer without quality loss. HDMI connection to allow Micca, while giving the advantage of both audio and video over cable to transfer, due to poor codec compatibility Archos 605 I owned, which is a common condition for the PMP, I always transcode videos just so they would play, which meant that keeping two copies of the same video. In all it was not only an elegant solution. My experience with Smart Micca is exactly the opposite. It covers almost all of my movies encoded for playback on my laptop without problems. Other than a few H.264 video, I did not need to encode movies for them to play at Micca Slim. And image quality was as good as my laptop. So now I have just one copy of the videos on Micca Slim, which then can any way I want to play. My colleagues gave me a blank look when I let them Micca Slim, remarked "this does not have a screen." "But their faces light up when I called my 20" monitor for work and saw the quality of the reproduction "who try to touch your iPod. "In the end, it's not fair that Micca all these things, but she does so easily and discreetly. I have a portable hard drive anyway, and I have a big to all my media files to save. Then , a portable hard drive, which plays all media files stored on it is as natural a function Tues October of 10 people found the following review helpful. Got A / V Media? Need This! By W.
